FAQ
Q: Who will be responsible for the debt of the Capitol in the future? Who will be the non-profit that will eventually take ownership of the Capitol?
A: The goal is to operate the Capitol Theatre debt free. The CVB is responsible for the acquisition and safety upgrades debt. The CVB is the non-profit that owns the Capitol Theatre now and for the foreseeable future. Another non-profit 501-c-3 (perhaps called the Capitol Theatre Preservation Trust Foundation) may be formed to support future wish list upgrades at the theatre. The foundation would also be responsible for future fundraising activities.
