Your Seat
in the Spotlight

“Your Seat in the Spotlight” is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate your family, friends, business, or the memory of a loved one by naming a seat in the historic Capitol Theatre.

In Good Company

In its rich living history, spotlights at the Capitol have shone on many celebrated musicians, stars and performers.

The greatest names in country music have taken the stage at the Capitol from Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, and Patsy Cline, to Kenny Chesney, Alabama, and Reba. Brad Paisley made his professional debut on our stage. From Ray Charles to Billy Joel, Black Sabbath to Dylan, George Carlin to Jeff Foxworthy, David Copperfi eld, Jay Leno, and many others have done shows at the Capitol Theatre. Guest soloists with the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra have included major artists of our time: Arthur Rubenstein, Roberta Peters, Marian Anderson, Itzhak Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma, and Andre Watts to name a few.

Since reopening in 2009, the historic stage has featured Wheeling Symphony concerts, Broadway show productions, and performances by Jerry Seinfeld, B. E. Taylor, Landau Eugene Murphy and numerous others.

Your Time to Shine

Your Seat in the Spotlight is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate your family, friends, business, or the memory of a loved one by naming a seat in the historic Capitol Theatre.

Note: A seat naming opportunity does not guarantee the reservation of this seat for performances, as ticket purchases are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Every opportunity will be made to accommodate the naming of a particular seat, but this is also subject to availability.
