MUSICAL LINEUP
JO ANN JONES
Jo Ann is an established Country/Gospel vocalist and recording artist. Her Christmas CD The Gift has captured the essence of Christmas through her soulful vocals and uplifting lyrics. The gift music will take you on a journey of faith, hope, and love to experience the warmth and true meaning of Christmas.
Jo Ann is known for sharing the stage with many iconic artists as a member of Jamboree USA and Jamboree in the Hills. Her Christmas CD The Gift is available on iTunes.
ROGER HOARD
Roger is the co-music director of The Gift concert. He is perhaps the most recognizable and respected talent to ever play guitar. Roger has performed with the great Chet Atkins. He was the guitar instructor to the valley’s own Brad Paisley. Roger was the music director of Jamboree USA and has been band mates with several formidable bands including, The Other Brothers who played at the Grand Ole Opry, The 1170 Band, house band of Jamboree USA and currently of Hoard and Jones.
JAMIE PECK
Jamie is the co-music director of The Gift concert. Jamie is an Emmy Award winning composer and musician, working in television and radio. Jamie joins the musicians on keyboard, saxophone, organ, and flute. Jamie is the owner, engineer, and producer at Jamie Peck Productions in Wheeling, WV.
DAN JONES
Dan Jones is a multi-talented musician and vocalist. His talents on guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and harmonica add more layers to this musical celebration. Dan is a premier member of the dynamic duo of Hoard and Jones.
SHIRAH BROTHERS
New this year! The Gift welcomes the Shirah Brothers from Cookeville, Tennessee. Jake and Josh Shirah and Samuel McIntyre are the members of this dynamic Southern Gospel vocal group. They have performed across the country and have an extensive tour schedule. The Shirah Brothers are thrilled to share their Christmas music and spread the joyous message of the season.
SANDY LUSCO HUFFMAN
Sandy Lusco Huffman is new to The Gift concert! Sandy is a musician, singer-songwriter who has impressively recorded eleven albums featuring many of her original songs. Her heartfelt lyrics are sure to capture the warmth of the Christmas season.
MARK STATLER
Mark is a Country and Gospel singer and performer. He has recorded several CDs and has performed throughout the Ohio Valley. Mark is serving as the lead pastor of the Church of Christ of Christian Disciples in Carrollton, Ohio. He is well known for his heartwarming delivery of Christian and inspirational music. Mark has performed at Jamboree USA and has opened for many country music favorites.
THE RON RETZER TRIO
The Ron Retzer Ttrio features Jennifer Galowina, Bob Wolfe, and Ron Retzer. The trio have been singing together since 2014 and specialize in Christian and popular music. The soaring vocal style of this group is a special blessing during the Christmas season.
CHAD SMITH
Chad joins the group as vocalist and percussionist, specializing in a variety of percussion instruments. Chad worked many years as Brad Paisley’s drummer and has performed at The Wheeling Jamboree and Jamboree in the Hills. Chad is currently the drummer for MSM.
DENNIS CRAIG
Dennis joins the group as Bass guitarist. He has performed with The Other Brothers on the Grand Ole Opry stage and at Jamboree USA and Jamboree in the Hills. Dennis has played for Charlie Pride, Kathy Mattea, Ray Price, and Steve Wariner.
RHIANNON JONES
Rhiannon is a young female vocalist with a passion for music and a natural talent for singing. She is the daughter of Dan and Judy Jones.
LIAM PECK
Liam is a vocalist with a charismatic stage presence who connects with the audience and is a promising up and coming talent.
LAZY JANE — TRISTEN SMITH AND MADISON SMITH
New this year! Lazy Jane, country music husband and wide duo, is returning home to the Capitol Theatre for The Gift Concert. They have released several music videos on CMT. Tristen has appreared on the Grand Ole Opry stage and is a highly sought after musician. As they retun to their roots, they are excited to share the Christmas story through their music.
